Windows 10 is coming on 29 July 2015

Microsoft has announced the launch date for Windows 10 operating system as 29/07/2015. Moreover Windows 10 has utilised the best features from Windows 7 & 8 plus improving overall security to Apps and internet surfing. You can switch between the two modes seamlessly on your devices such as computer desktops, tablets and notebooks.

Windows 7 and Windows 8 users will see a white Microsoft flag logo appear in their taskbar system tray. Thus you can click and proceed to Windows 10 details page to reserve your copy if you're eligble to upgrade.

Microsoft statement reads below:

"Windows 10 is so familiar and easy to use, you’ll feel like an expert. The Start menu is back in an expanded form, plus we’ll bring over your pinned apps and favorites so they’re ready and waiting for you.

It starts up and resumes fast, has more built-in security to help keep you safe, and is designed to work with software and hardware you already have.

This combines the strengths of Windows 8 with Windows 7.

Apparently for a limited time, you can get a free upgrade* to Windows 10 when it’s available on 29 July 2015. See the conditions next to the asterix see below.

Make sure you have the latest updates by installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Windows 8 operating system.
