Today Tuesday 7th February, 2017 is Safer Internet Day. Safer Internet Day (SID) has become a landmark event in the online safety calendar. To promote the campaign use hash tag #SaferInternetDay #SID2017 on social media. The Australian government eSafety Commissioner, Office of the Children's, is spearheading the campaign in Australia. They're raising awareness and trying to get people involved to ensure the internet is safer for young people, as well as, helping them make better decisions when sharing sensitive information.

Safer Internet Day theme is 'Be the change: Unite for a better internet'. Below you'll find a gallery of resources - from across the Insafe network of Safer Internet Centres and beyond - to help you celebrate SID in your school... and indeed promote a safer and better internet all year through!
